COURSE OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVE

This meeting is an advanced symposium focusing on the challenging area of craniomaxillofacial reconstruction in the region of the orbit following trauma and oncological resection.  Surgeons who deal with this difficult area are fully aware of the challenges faced in achieving an aesthetic reconstruction. With this in mind, a comprehensive list of lectures covering reviews of foundational subjects, as well as issues and controversies will be presented, making up fifteen hours of educational activity over one and a half days. The symposium is suitable for registrars at all levels of training and experienced surgeons wishing to increase their depth of understanding of the subject. Besides lectures, provision will be made for discussion of complex cases at the conclusion of the symposium to allow cross-fertilisation of knowledge and opinions among the faculty and delegates. The course faculty will bring together a wealth of knowledge from the continents of Europe and Asia Pacific. We look forward to your participation in this symposium.
